Nicholas Dagg, born in 1987 comes to the table with a massive amount of cattle grazing, growing and meat production experience.
Born in Innisfail and growing up in the rich volcanic hills of the Atherton Tablelands, he was destined to have the country life in his veins. And years later it runs deeper than ever with the passion to source and produce the best meat products available on the market, and to become the best butcher and shop owner in Australia.
After finishing his apprenticeship in Cairns, Nicholas Dagg moved to Brisbane to work for the best butchers in the South East. It was here that he truly found out why butchers strive so hard to keep improving the tenderness, flavour and quality of the animal. Butchery is a market that continually grows with people wanting only the best meat products on the market!
At 25 years old, and being voted as one of the top six butchers in Australia, Nicholas Dagg took the leap and purchased a shop of his own. After 4 years that shop was too small, so now he's bringing you Gourmet Market Meats — a purpose built quality butchery serving only the best meats on the market for all of North Queensland to enjoy.
